In celebration of Dolly Parton’s 80th birthday (Jan. 19), the museum will present a panel discussion highlighting her 2023 book, “Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones.” Panelists will include Holly George-Warren, a fashion writer and one of Parton’s Behind the Seams co-authors; Rebecca Seaver, director of museum and archive services for Dolly Parton Productions and another Behind the Seams co-author and Steve Summers, longtime costumer and creative director for Dolly Parton Enterprises. The museum’s Allison Moorer will lead the conversation. Offered in support of the exhibition Dolly Parton: Journey of a Seeker.

Alabama native Seth Costner is a pianist, songwriter, and vocalist who has worked as a sideman to artists including Lauren Alaina, Luke Combs, the Drifters, Lindsay Ell, Caylee Hammack, the Swon Brothers, and Chris Young. He has performed at both the Academy of Country Music Awards and the Country Music Association Awards, as well as on “American Idol,” “Good Morning America” and “Today.” As a solo artist, Costner released his debut album, From the Ashes, in 2012 and has also released an EP, The Easy Part.

C. J. Lewandowski is the founder of bluegrass ensemble the Po’ Ramblin’ Boys, which won the International Bluegrass Music Association’s 2018 New Artist of the Year award. In 2024, the museum featured Lewandowski in its American Currents: State of the Music exhibition, where his artifacts were displayed alongside those of his mentor, Bobby Osborne. Lewandowski created his 2025 album, Keep On Keepin' On, around the final recordings he made with Osborne before Osborne's death in 2023. The record features Sam Bush, Wyatt Ellis, Del and Ronnie McCoury, Billy Strings and Molly Tuttle.

Following a whirlwind 2024 that boasted a sold-out world tour, a feature on Disney’s “Only Murders in The Building” and over 5 million weekly streams, the band’s momentum continued into 2025 with a string of sold-out U.S. tour dates and a headlining performance at the legendary Troubadour in Los Angeles. Their music was also included on the soundtrack of Ryan Coogler’s hit movie “Sinners.” Building on this success, the Rocky Road Tour will offer a high-energy live show that reinforces the High Kings’ place at the forefront of Irish folk.
