Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park and Theatre is scenic 10-acre park and cultural arts center downtown Joliet, Illinois. Nestled between limestone bluffs and the I&M Canal, the Park runs along Bluff Street - Joliet’s first street of 1832. History unfolds on the self-guided tour past gardens, plaques, pavilion, riverwalk and artwork. The bandshell is home to the free “Concerts On The Hill” – held every summer Thursday for over 40 years. Indoors, the 300-seat theatre is home to children’s drama and community theatre. Named for the lady who led volunteers to build the park in honor of our nation’s 200th birthday, the park is for all ages in all seasons
