I've lived in Redmond, WA 44 years and have been writing "Redmond Neighborhood Blog for 16 years. I cover news and opinion of our local governments, the schools and neighborhoods. EvergreenHealth community owned hospital, the City of Redmond, and Lake Washington School District all have elected officials; a goal is transparency and accountability and spread local news. My mission this year is to focus on mental health, local politics and Redmond's rapid growth. I'm a "Seattle Times News Partner."

I'm married; my daughter graduated from Gonzaga with a double major in the sciences and a Masters in Environmental Science at University of Montana. I graduated with a B.A. in biology from Denison University, Ohio.
