Meet Lucas, A Dog Who Survived Sandy
With his owner's home washed away in the storm, Lucas is looking for a loving family to take him in.

Hi everyone!
I'm the local editor of both Matawan-Aberdeen Patch and Middletown-NJ Patch. Although I grew up in South Brunswick, I moved to the Matawan area in 2011 after graduating with a journalism degree from Quinnipiac University.
I enjoy meeting new people, writing stories that matter to the community and taking photos. I'm known for working from local coffee shops and restaurants, so if you see the big green "Patch" sticker on my laptop, be sure to introduce yourself.
