Join Supervisor Doug Chaffee and First 5 Orange County for a fun and educational Kid Builders Event designed to jumpstart your child’s early learning journey! Families with children ages 0–5 are invited to enjoy a free morning filled with hands-on activities, engaging learning tools, and helpful community resources that support early childhood development. The event takes place on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Brea Library. Kids can explore interactive play stations that promote growth across key developmental skills, while parents and caregivers connect with local support programs and take home valuable materials to continue learning at home. Diaper distributions will also be available while supplies last. Bring the family for a morning of play, learning, and community connection!

Celebrate the season with a festive afternoon of holiday fun! You are invited to enjoy a cozy cocoa bar, delicious cookies and treats, hands-on holiday crafts, and cheerful photo opportunities with both Santa and the Grinch at the Laguna Niguel Family YMCA. 

The event will take place on Saturday, December 19th, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Refreshments, crafts, and meet-and-greet opportunities with Santa and the Grinch will be included. Families of all ages are welcome for a magical seasonal celebration!
