I’m a lifelong resident of the Northwest suburbs, and I completed my journalism degree at Columbia College in Chicago in 2009. While attending school I interned at Community Media Workshop, a nonprofit organization that connects nonprofit communicators with media professionals.

For the past three years I’ve enjoyed covering government, education, science, business, the arts and community news for a number of publications including <i>ChicagoTalks</i>, <i>Printing News</i>, <i>Appolicious</i> and <i>Patch</i>.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, music and cooking for my family and friends.
