Community Dance Ensemble, Neighbor

The Community Dance Ensemble, under the direction of Maggie and Nancy Dennis, is a non-profit concert company which performs throughout New England for charitable and community organizations including hospitals, nursing homes, senior centers and veterans’ homes. The Community Dance Ensemble (CDE) was founded by Maggie Dennis, artistic director of The Dance Extension, on a strong belief in the value of bringing dance performances and education to the community.

The CDE has also performed at the Shriners Hospital, Ronald McDonald House®, Walt Disney World® Resort, Hershey Park, and the Garde Arts Center. The dancers travel frequently to attend professional concerts and conventions and special educational opportunities such as the Rockette Experience at Radio City Music Hall, classes at Broadway Dance Center, and master classes with dancers from Broadway musicals such as Billy Elliot, Tarzan & Hairspray.
