The Maryland Coalition Against Sexual Assault, based in Arnold, issued a statement regarding VAWA's passage in the Senate.

And from what I've discussed with residents so far, retaining the character of the area is important to many people here.
Schools are also a vital element to this area, particularly with Anne Arundel Community College being located in the heart of Broadneck. Furthermore, many residents moved here for the excellent public schools in this region.
