Dave Flippo, Neighbor

Dr. Dave Flippo is a music professor at Triton College and College of Lake County, as well as a private instructor for multiple areas, including jazz piano, classical piano, music composition and theory. He has lead his jazz quartet, Jazz From Planet Flippo (formerly Flippomusic) since 1992 and performed at countless clubs, colleges and festivals. The ensemble has recorded five CD's of Flippo's original compositions and arrangements and is preparing to release their sixth this Spring. The band includes Dave Flippo on keyboards, vocals and melodica, Heath Chappell on drums, Donn De Santo on acoustic and electric bass and Dan Hesler on soprano and tenor saxophone as well as flute.
