Pittsburgh Youth Chorus, Neighbor

Founded in 1983 as the Children's Festival Chorus, we are now Pittsburgh Youth Chorus! As Pittsburgh's premier choral organization for young singers ages 7 and above we combine quality music instruction with the highest level of artistry. Here at home, our singers have performed with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Pittsburgh Opera Company, Mendelssohn Choir and numerous other professional ensembles on the stages of Heinz Hall,the Benedum Center and Carnegie Music Hall. Pittsburgh Youth Chorus has traveled throughout the United States, receiving numerous awards for their hight artistic achievement. Pittsburgh Youth Chorus is under the artistic direction of Shawn Funk.
