Gabrielle Biondo is the Local Editor for the Town and Country - Manchester Patch website.  She's also a St. Louis native with more than a decade of news experience. Immediately out of college she worked in advertising and marketing in St. Louis. Her passion for news then took her to Central Illinois and Idaho before she made it back to her hometown in 2006. Biondo began her news career by moving across the country to take a broadcasting job with the NBC affiliate in Pocatello, Idaho in 2000 where she was a news anchor and reporter. In 2002, Biondo returned to the Midwest, taking a position with the ABC/NBC affiliate in central Illinois. There she was a reporter and news anchor where she created, produced and anchored a daily morning and noon newscast. In 2006 Biondo returned to St. Louis as an online news producer, on-air reporter and part-time anchor for KPLR News.  She continued her online news producing as the Senior Online News Editor for St. Louis' Globe-Democrat.com where she helped build the company newsroom and website.  She joined Patch.com in September 2010 and is excited about the concept of hyper-local news. She's thrilled to be working where she lived as a child and is eager to meet and work with the people who make Town and Country and Manchester two very unique and amazing communities.
