Anthony Fiorenzo, a former Bremen High School District 228 substitute teacher, says he was terminated from his position Jan. 9, over a discussion with Board of Education President Deb Stearns. Now, Fiorenzo is contemplating legal action.
Oak Forest police recieved two suspicious persons complaints from Forest Ridge Elementary School District 142 officials Jan. 16. Both incidents involved an older, white male approaching female students.
Veterans 2 Veterans meeting and networking event will be held at the V.F.W. Bremen Post 2791 in Tinley Park. The free event will begin at 7 p.m. and feature free food and beverages.
Bremen High School District 228 board of education approved a move to online registration for classes at its Jan. 15 meeting. The online process is expected to save thousands of dollars for the district and ease the process for students.
