Turin Bicycles Will Reopen In Ravenswood
The longtime Evanston bike shop closed at 1027 Davis St. last year, and will reopen at 4710 N. Damen Ave. in Chicago this spring, according to owner Lee Katz.

While in New York, I covered community news for the weekly Our Town, in addition to writing for the alternative weekly New York Press.
Following graduation, I spent two years in St. Louis, working full-time as associate editor for the weekly newspaper Ladue News while freelancing for the West End Word.

Willard Thiel Sr. was born Nov. 13, 1915 in Evanston and served the Evanston Fire Department for 36 years, rising to the position of Fire Chief before he retired. He died Jan. 4, 2013.
