Since 2012, Monophonics has steadily built a reputation as a consistent band with a unique sound. Well crafted songs and records are matched by an energetic live performance. A heavenly signature style: Pure timeless heavy soul and warm textures of psychedelic rock. This is a band that revels in the past, taking you back to the stylings of the late 60s and early 70s, while always keeping its feet positioned in the present, looking ahead to the future.
Front man, vocalist &amp; keyboardist Kelly Finnigan always leads with power. The renowned rhythm section starts with drummer Austin Bohlman along with Max Ramey on Bass and Aquilles Magaña on guitar. A dynamic horn section led by Ryan Scott on Trumpet with Jason Cressey playing Trombone always elevates the show &amp; sound. This core group drips in cosmic fashion.
As a touring band, Monophonics has taken their act to dozens of countries, selling out venues all over the states, UK &amp; Europe including London, NYC, Athens, LA, Istanbul, San Francisco, Amsterdam &amp; Paris. Known for putting on an infectious performance which places their intimate songwriting and soulful musicianship on full display. Its the kind of concert that delivers gifts to the mind, body and soul of every crowd in each city they travel to. Monophonics brings a musical experience that is unforgettable, which has earned the group a global fanbase and loyal following.
Sage Motel, Monophonics' fifth studio album released in 2022 on Colemine Records, once again captures the bands timeless psychedelic soul sound that they are known to produce. Met with an outstanding reception including nods from NPR Music, KCRW, BBC and Shindig, the record has thrived in multiple scenes. Since its release, ‘Sage Motel’ has found its way to millions of listeners online and seen thousands of records distributed and sold in record shops around the world.

AJ Lee &amp; Blue Summit are an award-winning, energetic, charming, and technically jaw-dropping band quickly rising on the national roots music scene. Based in Santa Cruz, California, the group met as teenagers, picking and jamming together as kids at local bluegrass festivals until one day, they decided they would be a band.
Currently made up of AJ Lee on mandolin, fiddler Jan Purat, and guitarists Scott Gates and Sullivan Tuttle, the band carries that youthful, festival-parking-lot energy with them still today, but at the same time there’s a genuine ease and confidence to their music making. As they ready their third studio album, City of Glass – their first label release, out July 19th via Signature Sounds – their product feels mature and fully realized, while deep in the Blue Summit pocket.
City of Glass is a slow burn album, remarkable when considered alongside records released by their peers in recent years. Lee &amp; Blue Summit seem unconcerned with mimicking or emulating other successful groups in their scenes. Instead, they’re most interested in discovering themselves, their own music, and sonics and textures truly their own. And, they’re most interested in doing so with their musical and Californian communities.
City of Glass, as a result, is an album that’s just as much country soul and gritty, bluesy Americana as it is rock club and festival-ready string band fare, all framed through a California folk lens while clearly primed for a much wider audience.
AJ Lee &amp; Blue Summit are an exemplary band so unconcerned with being remembered, with being enshrined, that they have gone about making a set of songs that will surely be held onto and cherished forever. City of Glass may one day crumble, but this music will never fade away.

Tito Puente Jr. carries his father with him – it’s in his looks, his joy, and his music. The younger Puente is determined to nurture the musical legacy left by his father. He refuses to let his father become a distant memory. “He was just too vibrant, too exciting. There was magic in the music my father made. It made people happy all over the world.”
He has found captive audiences who echo his passion, coming out to participate in the high voltage celebration that takes place on stage. Tito Jr. reveres the magnificent, lasting impact his father had on our musical lives. “People who don’t know anything about Latin music know my father and people always, always smile when they say my father’s name,” he confides. “That is a very special gift I have been given.”

Albert Cummings is an American blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter whose commanding guitar work and soulful vocals have made him a standout in the contemporary blues scene. His dynamic fusion of blues, rock, and storytelling draws influence from legends such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King, and Jimi Hendrix.
Signing with the revered blues label Blind Pig Records, Cummings released albums such as True to Yourself (2004) and Working Man (2006), the latter cementing his reputation as a touring force and recording artist of significant range and impact. Over the years, he has shared stages with blues luminaries such as B.B. King, Johnny Winter, and Buddy Guy, further broadening his musical reach.
In his later work, Cummings continues to evolve. Albums like Believe (2020) and TEN (2022) showcase a deeper sonic palette while remaining rooted in the soul of the blues. His most recent release, Strong (2024), debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart, further underscoring his status as a modern torchbearer for the genre and a master craftsman of heartfelt, high-energy blues.

Founded nearly 30 years ago, The Mother Hips caught their first big break before they’d even finished college, when legendary producer Rick Rubin signed the band to his American Recordings label. In the decades to come, the group would go on to release ten critically acclaimed studio albums and cement themselves as architects of a new breed of California rock and soul, one equally informed by the breezy harmonies of the Beach Boys, the funky roots of The Band, and the psychedelic Americana of Buffalo Springfield.
Hailed by the San Francisco Chronicle as “one of the Bay Area’s most beloved live outfits,” the group’s headline and festival performances have become the stuff of legend, earning them slots everywhere from High Sierra to Outside Lands alongside dates with the likes of Johnny Cash, Lucinda Williams, Wilco, and The Black Crowes. Rolling Stone called the band “divinely inspired,” while Pitchfork praised their “rootsy mix of 70’s rock and power pop," and The New Yorker lauded their ability to “sing it sweet and play it dirty.”

Ronnie Baker Brooks is one of Chicago’s—and the world’s—most undeniably talented and electrifying bluesmen. Born into blues royalty as the son of legendary multiple GRAMMY nominee and Blues Hall Of Famer Lonnie Brooks, Ronnie is among the few contemporary blues artists who learned his craft directly from many of the genre’s icons, including Albert Collins, B.B. King, Willie Dixon, Koko Taylor and, most significantly, his father. He’s built his reputation as a white-hot performer with eye-popping guitar work, soulful vocals, fireball energy and huge, crowd-pleasing personality. The Blues Foundation has recognized Ronnie’s talent with a total of six Blues Music Award nominations. In 2024, Ronnie, along with Shemekia Copeland, opened the famous Chicago Blues Festival (the 4th time he’s appeared as a headliner).
With his new Alligator Records debut, Blues In My DNA, Ronnie delivers a career-defining masterpiece. The album is firmly rooted in the blues, with Ronnie’s own brand of rock, funk and soul added to the mix. Each song was penned by Ronnie and produced by the legendary Jim Gaines (Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Miller).
Ronnie took home three 2025 Blues Music Awards, presented by the Blues Foundation: Contemporary Blues Artist Of The Year (Male); Contemporary Blues Album Of The Year (for Blues In My DNA); and Song Of The Year for the title track. AllMusic said, “Blues in My DNA is in a class of its own — resonant, sophisticated, and soulful.” Chicago’s WGN-TV declared, “Ronnie Baker Brooks is one of the most electrifying blues guitarists in the world.”
