Forbes this week released its 2021 World's Billionaires List. Those on the list saw their fortunes increase by more than $5 trillion.

I've lived in LA since 2015, but grew up a few hours south in sunny San Diego. I got my start in journalism at the University of Southern California, where I served as Lifestyle Editor at the Daily Trojan. Aside from that, I've been a music critic at DJBooth and HipHopDX, and ran a blog called See LA Prosper (SLAP) dedicated to highlighting the talented artists in the LA underground.
When I'm not working on a story, you can find me skating through DTLA or hiking along the Angeles Crest Trail. One day in the near (?) future, you might even see me in the crowd at your favorite artist's concert.
Have a story idea? Want to share feedback? In desperate need of a music recommendation? You can reach me at kenan.draughorne@patch.com, or by phone at 619-840-8784.
