Glencoe Park District - Takiff Center

A deep dive into addiction science, illicit drug trends, and overdose statistics to help community members stay informed.Drawing from decades of federal experience, Fidel Arroyo Jr., leading Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Community Outreach Specialist, will break down the most pressing drug issues facing communities today. He will cover everything from illicit fentanyl and overdose trends to counterfeit pills, drug trafficking operations, and the science behind addiction. This presentation offers healthcare professionals, social service providers, parents, and community members vital knowledge to stay informed, aware, and empowered.
This event will occur in-person in the Community Hall of the Glencoe Park District's Takiff Center. Parking is available in both the front and back of the building, as well as on side streets south of Green Bay Road.
