I also have a Bachelor's degree in journalism from Northern Illinois University. My first journalism job was at Lakeland Newspapers in Grayslake. I worked there for a year and then joined Pioneer Press newspapers, where I worked for 11 years. I've been with Patch since May 2011. I am passionate about community journalism!
