Lightning Strike Likely Cause for Jail Fire

An early morning electrical fire in the mechanical room of a housing unit at the Falkenburgh Road Jail led to the evacuation of some 160 inmates shortly before 1 a.m. Monday morning, July 16. The inmates are being housed elsewhere in the jail.
