Advent is a busy time at Bethany Lutheran! During Advent, Bethany Lutheran Church offers Wednesday night services at 7:30 p.m. using the Holden Evening Prayer.
Additional opportunities to celebrate the Christmas season is at our regular 10:00 a.m. Sunday service.
We also offer some other special services during the month of December: our Preschool Christmas Program and special Christmas event; our Family Candlelight Christmas Eve service featuring our children's choirs; and our very special Christmas Eve Candlelight Service which includes a professional brass quartet, a flute, our magnificent organ, and multiple choirs.
We hope to see you there this Christmas Season!

Children are invited to share their music during the 5:30pm Family Service on Christmas Eve at Bethany Lutheran Church, 2501 Beacon Hill Rd, Alexandria, VA 22306.
If your child is interested in sharing a piece (vocal or instrumental) appropriate for church (Christmas carol, hymn or praise song, or classical), please e-mail Lindsay Hemphill at <a href="mailto:lrhflute@gmail.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">lrhflute@gmail.com</a> no later than December 21, 2025.
Please include in the email your child's name, title of the piece, and length of the piece. Also, if your child would like a piano accompanist, please include this in the email, so we can make arrangements.
