Police Department Gives Sgt. Kristiansen a Big Send-Off After 30 Years
Police officers, firemen, friends and family all joined in a farewell salute to retiring Buffalo Grove Police Sgt. Scott Kristiansen.

Arlington Heights police responded to a hit-and-run accident Sunday in the 100 block of E. Algonquin Road. The driver who initially hit a car returned to the scene and crashed into a police car, the Arlington Cardinal reports.
After causing a crash at Lake Cook Road and McHenry Road on Dec. 27, the driver of a vehicle left the scene of the accident.
