Tropical Storm Predicted For North Georgia On Father's Day
The National Weather Service predicts Potential Tropical Cyclone 3 will grow to Tropical Storm Claudette and reach North GA late Saturday.

I started my professional journalism career on a football field in Alaska, and every day since has been an adventure. I've covered dog sledding and commercial fishing in the Land of the Midnight Sun, civic duty and Civil Rights icons in the Windy City, courts and crime in Hotlanta and the Inauguration of our first Black President.
Time away from the news business has given me perspective to appreciate what I've always considered my calling. And focusing on local stories has always been my lens to open a broader view of our society and our country.
