Mark Friedman, Neighbor

ark is a seasoned entrepreneur, business advisor and business owner. Mark is the Owner of Senior Helpers Boston and South Shore MA, a leading home-care agency serving the greater Boston metropolitan area. He also serves as an Advisory board member for several professional services and product companies.

He is an advocate for home care licensing and standardized practices in MA, where none currently exist. He served as a faculty member in Lasell College’s E.L.D.E.R. Partnership Program. He is also one of two certified trainers in Massachusetts of the Virtual Dementia Tour (VDT®), a teaching tool that replicates the physical phases of dementia. He is the author of A Guide to Excellent (and Successful) Aging available on Amazon. He is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and A Certified Aging in Place Specialist by the National Association of Home Builders. His Agency was the first Independent Agency in the United States to achieve Age Friendly Care at Home Certification from Community Health Accreditation Partners (CHAP).

Mark holds an MSIA (MBA) from Carnegie Mellon University (now The Tepper School of Business) with High Distinction and a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia.
