The Gateway Center Arena @ College Park

The Basketball Hall of Fame and the Chris Paul Family Foundation are bringing the Toyota Chris Paul HBCU Classic, to Gateway Center Arena in College Park, GA, on December 18 and 19.
This two-day showcase will feature elite talent from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), with tickets starting as low as $35. Division I matchups include Hampton University, Grambling State University, Jackson State University, and Norfolk State University, while Division II games will highlight Clark Atlanta University, Fayetteville State University, Lincoln University, and Morehouse College.
Fans can look forward to an energetic celebration of HBCU culture and basketball excellence, featuring spirited competition, school pride, and community engagement, all inspired by NBA star Chris Paul's commitment to supporting HBCU athletics.

Mimms Museum of Technology and Art

Join us for a calming, Sensory-Friendly Morning at the Mimms Museum on Friday, December 19, before its opens to the public. This special hour is designed for guests who benefit from a quieter, less stimulating environment. During this time, video volumes are lowered, flashing lights are turned off, visitor numbers are kept intentionally low, and quiet areas are available for anyone who needs them.
Headphones and wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and guests are welcome to bring comfort items such as weighted blankets, headphones, or fidget tools. Social Story and Communication Sheets are also available for download to help plan your visit.

Led by NASA Solar System Ambassador, John Baumbusch, this captivating talk revisits the groundbreaking 1968 Apollo 8 mission, the first time humans ever traveled to the Moon and captured the legendary “Earthrise” image. 
Experience the history, tension, and triumph of America’s bold race to space during a turbulent era and discover why Apollo 8 became an icon of the 1960s and earned its crew Time Magazine’s “Men of the Year”.
