Long Branch Free Public Library

Are you over 60 and looking for ways to improve your health in 2026? Starting January 14, the Long Branch Public Library is hosting a free six week program called WISE -- Wellness Initiative for Senior Education. This fun, interactive program is presented by Family &amp; Children’s Service and focuses on the unique needs of seniors. Light refreshments are provided and giveaways offered at each lesson.
WISE covers the aging process, managing medication use, depression, alcohol abuse, and coping with stress. The goal of WISE is to foster an enhanced quality of life for participants. Also addressed are:
§Tips on communicating more effectively with doctors§Managing stress triggers

§Strategies for a healthy lifestyle
