I am a mother, interested citizen, business owner, nonprofit board member, Rotarian, youth mentor and cheerleader (not literally, yes-figuratively). I care deeply about Palatine, which is my home and where we are raising our son. When the opportunity came about to help increase engagement from our entire community on Palatine Patch, I jumped at it. Variety is one of things I love the most about our town, and I will look to bring contributors in from all over our great Village to write here on Patch from their very own perspectives.

Please note: advertorial content is not invited-but educational, informative and helpful information for our residents-is! Nonprofits, government bodies, businesses and even bloggers (just no sales pitches, please) are invited! Please email Rick Uldricks [rick.uldricks@patch.com] to get set up as a Patch contributor! Another note: if you want to make a sales pitch, contact the Patch advertising department by filling out the form at this link: https://patch.com/illinois/palatine/advertise-with-us.

Thank you!

Melanie
