Sculptor James Ellwanger, now working on projects on the West Coast, adds the steel and glass piece "Bloom" to his portfolio of local art.

Melissa Myers relaunched the Central Iowa Patch websites in September 2017 and is a lifelong Des Moines resident with a passion for community journalism.
