I have worked in nature-based education for over twenty years. From infants to adults, I develop programs that help people make connections with the natural world. Maryland is full of amazing wild spaces! I have founded three area nature preschool programs (Irvine Nature Center's nature preschool, co-founder of Wild Haven Forest Preschool & Childcare, and now Notchcliff Nature Preschool) to grow nature-based education for young children and families in our community. I am the director of the Eastern Region Association of Forest and Nature Schools (ERAFANS) which offers professional development and education for people all over our region. I am delighted to publish my first book, Nature Play Workshop for Families: 40+ Outdoor Experiences in All Seasons, expected July 2020 (Quarto Press). I am also a wife and mother of two amazing children. We love our wild life here in beautiful Baltimore County!
