This is a gentle, empowering course that guides participants through memory prompts, storytelling tools, and legacy-focused reflection.
This workshop is presented by Belinda C. Basaca.
Participants are welcome to bring their own journal or laptop.
If you’d like to purchase a keepsake journal, a $5 material cost is applied.

It's the New Year to Get Cozzi!
How do the Danish survive long, dark winters? The answer is Hygge. In this workshop, we’ll explore this brilliant Danish term for coziness and explore ways to bring more of it into our lives through creative writing prompts. Resulting projects include but are not limited to a heartfelt letter to a loved one, a journal entry that’s the start of a creative piece, or a more polished version of something you’ve already been working on. Whether you’re new to creative writing or want an infusion of inspiration, this class is a space to tap into your imagination and meditate on themes of coziness.

Participants work with my proprietary air-dry, self-hardening sand — a mess-free, non-toxic material that requires no glue, tape, or resin. It’s easy to clean up and perfect for all skill levels.
