I manage the Wednesday On Main Summer Event Series, which was created in 2015 in response to the closing of our paper mill after 80 years of continuous operation. Our community was in need of happy and upbeat entertainment at low or no cost, thoughtful guest speakers, free events for children, and economic activity downtown to benefit retail and commercial businesses. With the full support and funding of the Town of Bucksport since day one, generous sponsors and donations, we've been bringing varied and wonderful events to Bucksport ever since, except during COVID, and will continue on!
