Lakewood Mayor Don Anderson Urges Residents To Stay At Home

It's the third consecutive year the city has earned the award from the Government Finance Officers Association of the U.S. and Canada.
"Since Gov. Jay Inslee’s Stay Home, Stay Healthy, there has been some confusion around what businesses are essential."
Changes were made effective March 31 due to COVID--19 precautions.
"We’re working through what went wrong. Once that’s resolved, we’ll let everyone know about future meetings and how to tune in."
The event will not be held in order to comply with social distancing guidelines.
The meeting will be held via Zoom and residents can view on live stream on the city website.
The City clarifies what is considered an "essential business," and how to best comply with the Governor's Stay Home, Stay Healthy Order.
Meetings can be viewed on YouTube, but public comments and public testimony on public hearings will only be accepted via email.
These reductions started March 29 and will remain in place through at least April 25.
