Ray Hanania is an award winning former Chicago City Hall reporter and columnist (1976-1992). Hanania writes Opinion Analysis for several news websites and print newspapers, as well as hosting a podcast "Two Guys on Politics" with former Congressman Bill Lipinski on politics available on iTunes and Spotify. Hanania also manages a media consulting company, Urban Strategies Group. He is the recipient of four LISAGOR AWARDS for Column Writing from the Chicago Headline Club/Society of Professional Journalists, named BEST ETHNIC AMERICAN COLUMNIST in America by the New America Media in 2006, and received the NATIONAL SIGMA DELTA CHI AWARD from the Society of Professional Journalists in 2009.
