Judge Rules Young's Statement After Cipriano Attack Admissible
Mitchell Young's defense attorney asked the court to throw out a statement made hours after the April attack on the Cipriano family.

I am excited to be back in my home community covering news for Novi. Although I grew up in Northville and graduated from Northville High School, I have spent a lot of time in the Novi community.
Most of my experience is in community journalism. I have worked for the Mackinac Island Town Crier, covering local events, school board meetings and local issues. I have also interned at Capital Area Women's LifeStyle Magazine in Lansing, writing about local women and non-profits.
I have a degree in journalism from Michigan State University. In college I was the editor in chief of a monthly print student magazine for two years.
In my free time, you will most likely find me reading a good book. I also love spending time with my family and traveling.

I believe it's important to research and educate yourself about candidates and issues to make an informed decision. Local Hot-Button Issues
I plan to focus my coverage on three main topics: family, economy and diversity.
