Sarah resides in Catonsville with her husband Neal, her dog, Pete, and cat, Jeff. She enjoys serving the central MD market, and sometimes you'll even find her working on the Eastern Shore. She holds a degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and has advanced professional training from a variety of organizations. She enjoys eating tasty food, running with her dog, and frequently participates in area marathons and triathlons.

Sarah brings over nine years of real estate experience to The Smallwood Team, and is proud to be part of a group that values honor and integrity as being crucial to the industry. She uses diligent and modern communication, negotiating experience, and effective “ninja-style” marketing to ensure a smooth transaction that exceeds her client’s expectations.

Previous to her work with The Smallwood Team, Sarah was the vice president of sales at Oyster Realty; a boutique real estate brokerage serving central MD. Her experience at Oyster positioned her as a prominent figure in Maryland’s emerging “green” economy. Additionally, she has extensive business management experience by acting as founding member and executive at a local renewable energy development firm. She is enthusiastic about knowledge-sharing and has counseled fellow real estate colleagues on how to develop and market unique properties. She frequently attends industry sessions and is an active participant in local government activities.

Sarah presently serves on the Equal Opportunity & Diversity Committee for the Maryland Association of Realtors, as well as the Education Committee for the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors. She enjoys being a knowledgeable resource for fellow real estate professionals.
