Scott Moore was raised in Lindenhurst, NY and attended Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, NY, graduating in 2011 with degrees in American History and Online Journalism.
Before arriving at Patch full-time, Scott freelanced and interned for a variety of organizations, including Newsday, The New York Academy of Sciences Magazine and various Patch websites. Scott was a staff reporter at The South Shore Standard in The Five Towns of Nassau County from June 2011 until May 2012.
