In 2023, Sertoma Centre, Inc. and New Star officially merged, forming Sertoma Star Services. For a collective 125-plus years, the New Star and Sertoma Centre agencies have provided state-of-the-art services and programs to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and those living with mental illness. Sertoma Star Services’s mission is to empower individuals with disabilities, their families, and those living with mental illness to achieve personal success by providing choices and opportunities. Our service area reaches those living in and around the Chicagoland area and northwest Indiana.
