Patch Rewind: Rockville Resident Reflects on the March on Washington
“I became an activist because if King can do it, why couldn't I—shouldn't I—be involved.” —The Rev. Jim Macdonell

I've podcasted, broadcasted, live-blogged and tweeted my way to Patch, but in the more traditional sense, you could say my background is in newspapers, particularly features and lifestyle reporting. I earned a print journalism degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, was a Chips Quinn Scholar (summer 2003) and, more recently, was named a 2009 Maynard Institute Multimedia Editing Program fellow. If the topic exists, I've probably written about it. I look forward to telling your stories here at Patch. Email news tips to tiffany.arnold@patch.com.
