Most of my experience is in community journalism. Prior to my experience in Troy and Shelby-Utica, I helped launch West Bloomfield Patch and worked as local editor in that township for two years. I have also covered Clawson Patch.
I have a Bachelor's degree in journalism from Oakland University. When I studied there, I also worked as an editor for the independent student newspaper on campus, The Oakland Post.
In my free time, you will most likely find me at a local concert venue, watching hockey, and volunteering. Just not at the same time.
