Wendy comes to Patch with many years experience in community journalism in the Lehigh Valley. She has worked for large and small newspapers, and is an award-winning reporter who has covered stories in locales from Allentown to Afghanistan. She began her career working as a stringer for several years with the New York Times and Wall Street Journal bureaus in Philadelphia. Wendy grew up in suburban Philadelphia and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. She has taken graduate courses in creative writing.
