A full evening of independent cinema comes to downtown St. George as FMASU presents Conspiracy 25, a one-night showcase of three feature films created under a strict $2,025 micro-budget challenge. Local and regional filmmakers spent the past year writing, shooting, and completing their movies under intense creative limitations, and this event marks the official world premiere of the projects that made it across the finish line.
The showcase runs Friday, January 17, at the Electric Theater. Doors open at 2:30 PM, with screenings from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Each film will be followed by a live Q&A with the filmmakers, offering audiences a behind-the-scenes look at how these productions were accomplished with minimal resources and maximum ingenuity.
If you enjoy independent film or want to support local arts, this event highlights the region’s creative talent and the power of filmmaking under constraint.
