National Shrine Organist Dr. Peter Latona in Concert on February 8 in Clifton VA

The St. Andrew the Apostle Concert Series is thrilled to welcome Dr. Peter Latona, Director of Music, Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C.  for an unforgettable afternoon of organ music in Clifton, Virginia on Sunday, February 8, at 4:00 PM.

Widely regarded as one of America’s foremost liturgical musicians, Dr. Latona is an award-winning performer, composer, and master improviser whose concerts are praised for their brilliance, depth, and spiritual power. Having performed throughout the U.S., Europe, and the Holy Land, he brings a truly world-class program to Clifton.

Toutes les couleurs! All the Colors!
This program celebrates the full sonic palette of St. Andrew’s magnificent Organ of the Holy Archangels—a French Romantic-style masterpiece by the Peragallo Organ Company with 3 manuals, 51 ranks, and 2,891 pipes. Hear music by Gerre Hancock, McNeil Robinson, and Jean Langlais, plus works from across the centuries and improvisations inspired by stained-glass windows and Sacred Scripture.  This concert promises a sweeping journey through organ masterworks spanning the centuries—music that engages both heart and mind!

Stay after the concert for a complimentary post-concert reception and the chance to meet Dr. Latona and fellow music lovers.
