Shortly before 1:45 p.m., Fairfax County police said officers responded to a shooting in the 5100 block of Woodmere Drive. One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said. It's unclear whether the victim was shot. Police are asking residents to avoid the area. Police are searching for two men in connection with the shooting. According to authorities, the men wore black hoodies and fled following the shooting. Anyone with information about the shooting or suspects should call 911.
