On Friday, Dec. 16th, Van Management, a family of local McDonald’s franchisees presented a check to to represent the $2,182.91 that they donated to the school in 2011.
Their donations were made through McEducator’s Nights where celebrations were held at the local restaurants in honor of the teachers and students at Centre Ridge, and in turn, a portion of the restaurant proceeds from those nights went towards the elementary school. Van Management has had a partnership with Centre Ridge for six years now.
Moreover, in the past year, Van Management has given more than $10,000 in fiscal contributions to Fairfax County Public Schools through both donations and sponsorships.
