AT&T Boosts Mobile Performance in Centreville Area
Says it's boosted wireless capacity.
Centreville residents with iPhones and otherAT&T mobile devices may notice a boost in performance as the company announced the completion of a major network initiative.
Company officials said it has enhanced its wireless capacity and the performance of its mobile broadband network in Centreville and Chantilly, and along I-66, according to an AT&T press release.
The AT&T network was also enhanced in parts of Prince William and Loudoun Counties.

The network enhancement adds new layers of frequency; also known as “carriers,” that increase mobile broadband capacity at more than 100 local cell sites in Northern Virginia.
Adding carriers are like adding another lane to a busy highway, AT&T officials said.
