Clifton House Fire Critically Injures 1 Person: Fire Department
One person suffered life-threatening injuries in a house fire Wednesday in the Clifton area, according to Fairfax County Fire officials.

CLIFTON, VA — One person suffered life-threatening injuries in a house fire Wednesday morning in the Clifton area, according to the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department.
Fire units reported a fire showing when they arrived at the house in the 6800 block of Compton Heights Circle in Fairfax County at about 9:45 a.m.
Units from Prince William County Fire and Rescue assisted Fairfax County with putting out the fire. After 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Fairfax County Fire and Rescue said most units were returning to service, and that fire investigators had arrived on the scene to determine the cause of the fire.

The injured occupant of the home was transported to the hospital. No firefighter injuries had been reported, according to the fire department.
