Interest Grows Over Ekanem's College Choice
College football fans watching to see where one of Centreville's standout players will wind up.

Choosing a college is never easy—but how many high school seniors have the media checking in every couple weeks to see if they've made a decision yet? Centreville's Ken Ekanem does.
Interest continues to grow surrounding Ekanem's college choice. He has offers on the table from Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech, Boston College and a host of other colleges. The Washington Post recently interviewed Ekanem and head coach Chris Haddock about Ekanem's performance on the field and his hopes for college. The Fairfax Times also wrote about his prospects early this month, and niche sports sites seem to post updates every few weeks. It's easy to see why. Ekanem is a top recruit who brings a lot to the table.
Centreville Patch last spring, a few months after the Wildcats completed a 9-3 season. Recruiting literature was already pouring in at that point. As Haddock told the Post, "He's going to be a kid that any school is going to be proud to have representing them."
