
A woman walking along Lee Jackson Memorial Highway was stabbed in the arm and robbed by a young man on a bike Monday evening, Fairfax County Police said.
The 46-year-old woman was walking near the 13600 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway when a young man on a bicycle approached her and demanded that she turn over her money. The man, who was described as a short, black teenager wearing a dark jacket, then stabbed her in the arm with a sharp weapon, police said.
When the woman turned over her money and personal property, the man took off on his bicycle, police said. The woman was then treated at a local hospital for non life-threatening injuries. The incident took place around 8:50 p.m.
