New SweetFrog to Open in Centreville

SweetFrog, a frozen yogurt shop, is slated to open in Centreville Square this week. 

Manager Sam Kafigy said that he expected the new shop to open sometime this week, though the precise date is still uncertain. Renovations have been underway since February. 

SweetFrog has a wide range of flavors available, including angel food cake, Irish mint, pomegranate raspberry tart, and Greek black cherry.

But what's behind the name?

"SweetFrog was founded on the principles of Christianity and our belief in bringing happiness and a positive attitude into the lives of our consumers," the business' website reads. "At SweetFrog, F.R.O.G stands for Fully Rely On God – and we hope to be an example of that in every community!" 

The nationwide chain has a number of other locations in Virginia, including Fairfax and Greenbriar Town Center in the Chantilly area.
