Rescheduled Sully Quilt Show Honors Patriot Day
"Ground Zero quilt" among the items exhibited this weekend.

The Sully Historic Site has rescheduled its annual Quilt and Textile Show for Sunday, Sept. 25th, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Heavy rains made the grounds unusable on the original date, Sept. 11th, but the quilt show has retained its Patriot Day theme. Among the attractions will be quilts with patriotic designs on display at the historic home, traditional Appalachian music, a door prize and living history interpreters.
Among the vendors displaying patriotic designs is Georgia Fries of Lothian, Md., who during the six months after 9/11. It will be the center of her exhibition. Read about Fries' unusual design .

Admission to the quilt show is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and $5 for children. For more information call 703-437-1794.
