What Should FCPS do to Prepare Children for the Future?
Taxpayers can tell Fairfax County Public Schools what its priorities should be.

Fairfax County Public Schools Superintendent Jack Dale has invited residents to take part in an online discussion of the school system's priorities.
Anyone can take part in the online forum and propose answers to the question, "What is the most important thing Fairfax County Public Schools should do to move it forward to prepare our children for the future?" The question should also be of interest to Fairfax County residents without children enrolled in FCPS, whose taxes also pay for the educational system.
As of Wednesday, the most popular topic by far was with over 2000 votes (in at least three separate threads) in favor of starting school later in the day. The next most popular thread, with over 500 votes, proposed restoring and adding honors classes to the curriculum.
