Rotary Lunch Mtng 12/16: "Sleeping with Snakes" at Centreville & Chantilly Club

We had our club holiday lunch last week. The program today for our Rotary club lunch meeting features a fun and captivating presentation with Elena Yearly of EMY Consulting LLC on "Sleeping with Snakes: Rethinking Risk as Opportunity" –

What if your biggest fears were actually hiding your greatest opportunities? Elena will unpack how fear-based thinking can block innovation, stunt growth, and lead to missed chances. With humor, insight and practical wisdom, she explores how we can also reframe risk – not as a threat to avoid, but as a tool for unlocking potential. Her talk will inspire you to move from caution to courage and start seeing opportunity where others see danger.

Our Rotary Club of Centreville & Chantilly usually meets on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd Tuesdays for lunch at 11:45am at Olive Garden in Fair Lakes VA. We welcome visitors, guests & interested prospective Rotarians to join our mission of #ServiceAboveSelf. (We order off the restaurant lunch menu and pay individual tabs.)

4th Tues. is often a community field trip; 5th Tues. is no official lunch meeting, what we call "members' choice" for community service or often a happy hour social.
